52. Flirting with the Stewardess

And now another edition of how to be manly. Today lesson number 4762. Boy howdy, The life of an important business executive is certainly an exciting one. You are quite the jet setter as you fly around the country attending high-level business meetings and making million-dollar decisions. Your company has been quite pleased with you and, after one highly successful and profitable trip in a far-off city, your boss tells you to fly home immediately to discuss your new promotion. The next day you are filled with pride as you settle down in your airline seat--first class of course. On this flight you are being attended to by a most highly attractive brunette flight attendant. You cannot believe your luck. She asks you if would like a drink and you ask for a bourbon and coke which she promptly delivers. Minutes later you ask for another and another and another until you are really starting to feel courageous. You know that you could, shall we say, "score" with this flying Aphrodite if you could only supply her with a heaping helping of your manliness. However, how can you accomplish this in a manly manner? Well, follow along in your manly manual, page 4758, and repeat after me:

  1. Shoo-wee momma! Let's play "Time for your Airline Dinner!" I'll lay down and be the dinner and you can eat me!

  2. Say, gum drops, that life vest and I have something in common-we both inflate when you blow on our hose!

  3. Hey hey hey! Let's go to your place and I'll practice pressing your call button to see how long it takes you to come!

Use any of the above phrases in just such a situation and later when all of the passengers leave in a hurry--after you leave in a stretcher, you can rest assured that the female flight attendant will have no doubts as to what kind of man you really are. Until next time, this is Mr. Manly saying be manly and good day.
